Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on 16 April 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and a quarter Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish as well as English origin is also her mother. Her mother hails from Spanish as well as English descendance. Taylor-Joy was born into a clan with six kids. Four of them are siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area of London. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been traumatic, and refused to study English since she was hoping to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to when she switched from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she took ballet classes and appeared in school productions. She left high school when she was 16 in order in order to pursue her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was a young actress who knew she would become one. It was her wish to be a model when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
