Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop phenomenon is a star who was able to transcend over from country music to mainstream culture, and has become an idol of the world of pop. Swift also took on all over the world through her music. Swift left her country roots like they were a second skin, revealing she was arguably the smartest pop-oriented singer/songwriter of her time, one that could tap into the mood of the moment and personalize it and equally impressively do in the opposite direction. Her talents were apparent in some of her first tracks, including the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on the second album Fearless that came out in 2008, she discovered who she is and find audiences across the globe. The album was a huge success, not just in the United States, having six platinum-certified singles. Its Top Ten songs Love Story & I Belong with Me were the main reasons for this. However, it did exceptionally well throughout the world. Speak Now delivered almost two years later consolidated that popularity and pushed Swift to the heights of stardom. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), the popularity of Swift grew, and she was able to enter the world of pop music with a clear sense of where she deserved to be. In the end, when she refocused her music to the stripped-down versions of 2020, folklore, and Evermore, she still remained at the top. It was a position that was confirmed through re-recordings of her previous catalogue as along with Midnights, her synth-heavy chart-topping 2022 album.
