Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin has been an actor in Canada as well as New Zealand for over a decade. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and raised by Wellington Paquin's father, was first seen on stage in the role of Flora McGrath. For this part, she was awarded an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress for the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of 11. She is the second-youngest winner in Oscar History. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian native New Zealand actress. As a child, Paquin won the Academy Award for best support actress. Her role as the talkative and inquisitive character Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) brought her the honor. Paquin was chosen to play the role of the child in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre in the year 1996. In addition, she played the lead role in Fly Away Home, a movie from the year. Paquin was Frankie Addams in a 1997 TV movie adaptation of the novel by Carson McCullers The Member of the Wedding as well as a small role in the role of Queen Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She played teens as teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) and Almost Famous (2000). Also, she played the character of Polexia Aphrodisa.
