Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her starring roles in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. Born into a middle-class family living in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. The mother of her children was a film fan and urged her to enjoy movies as a young person. Paula participated in co-curricular activities at school, and was a drama enthusiast. Paula was a fantastic actress, and she enjoyed performing alongside her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actress decided that acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She attended the University of Southern California in the summer program, and loved her time there. The program was awarded to her by PBS to produce documentaries over a period of three months. She began her career as a TV production assistant following the completion of this task. Next, she was going to begin producing documentaries. However, she had always wanted to become an actress, even though she was happy in her present job. Her acting debut came with a small role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared on many TV and film series.
