Amy Smart is a former American model and actor. Amy Smart, born and raised in California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first role. From there to starring in a small role in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. In the beginning, it was hard for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. The reason is that most models aren't great actors. And they are usually assigned small and insignificant parts. Amy was determined to keep trying. She climbed the ladder to greater roles, starting with The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. In 2005, she took part in the leading role of the romantic comedy Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. The film became a massive commercial success, and Amy was finally able to get the fame she had been striving for for over 10 years. Amy went on to appear in major films such as the Crank Series opposite Jason Statham, and Shameless.
